May 26 - Jess: Inspired by Kusama
The session will be inspired by an artist that both us and our model adore: Yayoi Kusama. We will celebrate not only her art but her whole personality. Kusama’s famous Infinity Rooms and other artworks will be incorporated in this session through the use of virtual background, in front of which our model Jess will strike different poses. The polka dots will play an important role in the poses.

As one of the two organizers of the London based collective 2BOrNot2B. Jess is well
established in the online Life Drawing scene. We are extremely proud to have her as a model for this session. As a designer and artist whose practice spans across several mediums from fashion, graphics to set design and everything in between. She has worked and collaborated with some of fashion, music and sport’s highest profile names.

The artist: Yayoi Kusama
This Japanese born artist is most famous for her colourful sculptures and installations, although she is also active in painting, performance, film and other forms of art. Coming up as part of the NewYork avant-garde scene during the 1960’s, she has continuingly addressed issues of body positivity and mental health. Characterized by her use of polka dots and bright colours she has established a unique style, which is easily recognized around the world.

Maud - Inspired by Wally Neuzil
On May 5, we focus on Wally, muze , love and artmodel of Egon Schiele. Expect sensual poses , partly in underwear and full nude. Wally was Egon his first and most important love. In the session we speak about the love story of Schiele and his muse Wally.
The Model: Maud
Maud is a French art model living in Gran Canaria. She is a big fan of Egon Schiele's art and very much inspired by Wally , his muse and lover. Maud has practiced theatre and dance for 15 years. She also does stage performances and modelling work for photography, painting and sculpture. She is engaged in creation through body language and she expresses the need to change codes and mentalities.

We will focus on one of Egon Schiele's most important muses : Wally Neuzil. She started as a model for Egon Schiele, but soon they became passionate lovers and lived together. The intimacy and open sensuality of the drawings and paintings Egon made of Wally, will be expressed in our poses.

Maria will put on white body paint on her face and body. Posing on a black background. The women in the art performances of Vanessa are looking very neutral, as if they are mannequins, living sculptures. We focus on portraits and full body. The dry white paint asks for improvisation , maybe working on a dark colour paper.

Maria considers herself hugely fortunate to life model full time and adore working with creative people. She is constantly inspired and in awe of the variety of never ending possibilities art creates.
Vanessa Beecroft is a huge inspiration. Maria loves the strong female presence in her work. That sometimes uneasy mix of mannequin, female power, elegance and with her painted series a hark back to classical sculpture. With paired back performances you are forced to confront what may make you feel uncomfortable.

In this life drawing session Rebacca and Aleksander show the tension between lovers. Marina and Ulay are famous for their intense, physical, powerful art performances. In the poses we show the raw energie between lovers. Kissing , slapping, screaming and also a tender embrace.

Adrian will transform into a woman. The inspiration comes from the older women in the artworks of Otto Dix. Very harsh portraits of bourgeois women in Weimar Republic Germany.
We focus on portraits, close ups, putting makeup on our face in the mirror. Caricature faces on bodies. Stockings , hat, boa, peacock feather. Also some aerial poses on a bed , seductive and sensual .

In this session with we will focus on hands, knees, feet and face. Adrian has a body very similar to Egon Schiele. We will recreate the raw sensual beauty of Egon Schiele's self portraits.
Egon Schiele 12 June 1890 – 31 October 1918) was an Austrian painter. A protégé of Gustav Klimt, Schiele was a major figurative painter of the early 20th century. His work is noted for its intensity and its raw sexuality, and the many self-portraits the artist produced, including nude self-portraits. The twisted body shapes and the expressive line that characterize Schiele's paintings and drawings mark the artist as an early exponent of Expressionism.
