Theme: Egon Schiele - Angels and composition
Egon Schiele (1890 – 1918) was an Austrian painter and a major figurative painter of the early 20th century. His work is noted for its intensity and its raw sexuality seen in his portraits and self portraits. The twisted body shapes and the expressive line that characterize Egon Schiele's paintings and drawings mark the artist as an early exponent of Expressionism.
In this session we focus on the unusual angels Egon used in his artworks. Lilith will be very close to camera, or in a diagonal pose. Bones, hips, breasts , hands are sticking out. Schiele tried to capture the inner world of his models.
Special attention to the power of lines and structure in the drawing and paintings.
15 and 20 minute poses.
The zoom doors will be open at 19.30
The session starts 20.00 (Amsterdam time)
Open to all levels, beginners and pro.
